And if you wonder why the Dakar rally (Dakar = a city in Africa) will start in Buenos Aires. 2008, a day before the start The rally had the race to be canceled because of safety. Since 2009, therefore it starts in South America - more specifically Argentina and Chile.
Sun No more chatter more but only lots and lots of horsepower. ,-D
for the onlookers ...
... Austria is also provided refreshments. ,-D

Jardin Botanico

The Botanical Garden of Buenos Aires (or: Jardín Botánico Carlos Thays de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires;-D) is in the district of Palermo . Click here for the full view of the different "regions" Skulpuren or building on the picture. ^ _ ^
The park was opened in 1898 and houses over 5,000 different plant species - for each walker to recommend it!
DSC_0475
With an area of about 70,000 m² it is a recreation area for local residents and in 1996 was even declared a National Monument.
What has struck me is the number of cats that are found in the park. Basking on rocks, curve around the statues or sleep on the roads. The park is home to many that is exposed to domestic cats. When the government wanted to remove the cats, they met with resistance from the people who care for the animals now. This here looks especially from velvety, I think. ;-)
The 33 sculptures are scattered throughout the park, famous by many artists originate. Who is interested in so it can click through the website . ;-)
As you can see on the first image of the park overview, the park is divided into different continents, growing in the course quite different plants. Are we in a forest of dark green, overgrown ground ...
... recalls the image 200 meters more to the desert garden in Arizona . ^ _ ^
Who the sweltering heat of Buenos Aires will escape a few hours, which can I only recommend this park.
There are also some shrubs of the see Mate- plant, which will show the Argentina, as her favorite plant looks like at all. The leaves of the plant known as Yerba Mate as well as the national drink of Argentina giltet. But for more in a later post. ;-)
yet to discover a view of the park an artistic-looking cat in their daily bath. ^ _ ^ Next time you see Edificion Central in the Jardin Botanico. A cottage middle of the park where I would like to make a couple of weeks holiday.

Albums - Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket

Hi,

read by anyone who has a little, has certainly noticed that I no longer able to upload images to Blogger, because my disk space was exhausted from 1GB of Picasa. Since I did not have much time to find a quick solution, I've looking around for a bit decided to Flickr (which I explain why at the end) and I will test the next few months.
The comparison of the big three, I would not deny you and you can maybe help a little. (Please note that this is just a short list of mine was also for me is to discover important conditions in such communities is not always easy,..-D)
Vergleich Webalben
course, not all the ... Take a look a look around and you will find a huge range: Photobucket , Flickr, Picasa , Zooomr, Ipernity ...

A very good comparison can be found on Photo Sharing Services Review and gives a brief summary (some unknown) to Web Albums, it Focus.de .

Why I decided at short notice for Flickr is probably simple: It offers unlimited storage for free! xD

a little more detail: 25 $ I do not really even worth it if I can save my photos somewhere else and there is no way. What I do not need but the whole bits and pieces is all around. I need no community, no apps for stuff, no way I upload unknown format or an image editing tool. Only the tags of flicker I use (but are not really necessary). I just need a place where I can hinschaufeln my pictures to them then simply present them on the blog. Although only the last 200 pictures at Flickr are visible, that does not bother me much because they remain on the blog.
most So I now once the free version of Flickr and warn you against the same time. 1. I do not know if it really does offer unlimited storage (I've read so far but still nothing to the contrary). 2. It is infinitely complicated set images to Blogger. Each figure with its HTML code will be entered separately. (Does anyone there another solution?)

So that's it for now on the subject. I would still like me busy with other Albums and everything closely, but I just had no time for it and did not want to post anything for weeks. =)

write me your experiences with similar programs. Are you satisfied with what you have? Do you want to go next? What is important to you?

Reserva Ecológica de Buenos Aires

Back from India and to test a Flickr account opened, there are a few more pictures from Argentina. Let's see how this web album suggests. ;-) We continue now that is, the ecological reserve of Buenos Aires.

DSC_0344
by the ecological reserve of Buenos Aires in the east of the city you .
Reserva Ecológica Costenera Sur , as it is called, is, 3.5 sq km ...
... and in 1970 formed of rubble from demolished houses.
What had formerly been waste, through the sedimentation of solid land and eventually into a habitat for many animals such as flamingos, herons, ducks, parrots, ...
has at least the pollution still a good End taken.
What to do with the park but is still uncertain. Plans for a building or a north-south highway can mean the end of this reserve.
On this day, it was very hot and we are mostly jumped from shadow to shadow. ^ _ ^
Anyone planning a long walk, which I can recommend only the ecological reserve.
how hot it was, it looks good on clothes. ,-D
I like the shade of the palm. =)
And as promised, our turtle that we found. Do not think so, that would be slow. ,-D
After this exhausting and hot walk, we have earned our dinner in good faith. Delicious facturas (pudding dumplings) filled with vanilla pudding, Dulce de Leche, jam! Be sure to eat! ^ _ ^
